The concept of Beyond The Ripples comes from the basic understanding of how the 'ripple effect' works on water and in the air. When you create a disturbance in an otherwise 'quiet' or 'calm' region of water or air - the resulting reaction is seen -or more precisely, observed and/or measured - in the form a WAVE.
The wave moves OUTWARD from the center of the disturbance to continue on for whatever distance the energy can sustain it - or the wave is changed into another form of energy by collision and dissipation: it hits something or just stops.
Information acts in much the same manner.
